It sounds to me like this.....

"We've decided that a 1300cc motorcycle is too dangerous for the highways because of the potential speed. We require you to sell your ALREADY purchased motorcycle within one year or require you to install a power commander that will limit the bike to 250cc "

It could happen...that's the scary part...

So is that 7 in the magazine and 1 in the chamber?

What I dont understand is how a state law can be stricter than federal law, but state law cant be more lenient than federal law?

When you think of Federal law, you have to think of it as the "Minimum Standard"...then states can add to that if they so choose.

It's no time to joke fellas.

It's time for NY patriots to gather. United y'all stand.
A gathering of 1000 armed men all with Ar15s and 30rnd mags in peaceful protest would show them we own this place. The time is approaching where lunacy is reality.

This my friends seems quite unlawful.....

Assault weapons -- defined as any rifle with a "military style" feature, such as a bayonet or a telescoping stock -- that are currently owned would be grandfathered and would have to be registered with the state. Magazines with a capacity of more than 10 rounds and manufactured before 1994, which are currently legal, would have to be turned over to authorities or sold out of state within one year. If a magazine has a capacity between eight and 10, it would have to be retrofitted to only hold seven rounds.

This has to be one of my largest concerns...that they attempt to take what is already owned.

The other thing that terrifies me is that this Cuomo has presidential aspirations....

All ya'll future felons with weaponry that would make Abe Lincoln cringe just stand by cause this Happy Barnyard Horse****z is going to spread nation wide. We have a radical lame duck president with nothing to loose who apparently thinks the constitution is just a pesky outdated piece of paper that's stuck in his skives giving him a rash. Executive orders will become the flavor of the day (Gun Control, Presidential power to raise the debt limit via Executive Order)!

Do you regret your vote yet?

Be patient, you will!

No need to wait for Cuomo to reach the oval office. The current man in the white house is just as radical!

the Biden recommendations are farking ridiculous. I hate to say it but I think I wanna go buy a few hand guns but I'm worried that I'll need to look a little more thuggish to get them because its almost getting to the point ,what he's proposing, that if you want the same guns as the criminals use, you'll be buying them from the same sources as the criminals. :banghead:

ya know all the movies show how lavish a lifestyle the big arms runners live... hmm...

The problem is that if you were to do this in NY you would be arrested instantly. Nothing over 10rds is allowed, so somehow they think tightening to 7rds is going to do anything :dunno: its the first step on the way to single shot, bolt action or black powder being the only things allowed :banghead:

Well statistics do prove that you have a better chance of surviving if you are shot only 7 times instead of 10.
I think the public in NY will definitely be safer.

I'm beginning to think that we should make enforcement at the state level. Im just sick and tired of the metro areas like NY, NJ and LA having such an impact on EVERYTHING... They have a lot of population there is no doubt but just like the election those major metro areas are the ones that have a gun problem and they want to cover the entire nation with their ideals of gun regulations... Those metro areas are what drove President Obama to a second term and now we are seeing them pushing their issues on the rest of the country... If we left the problems to the states and not the federal level then I could be okay with whatever. Our country is really divided and I think I have narrowed it down in my opinion not Republican vs Democrat, not rich vs poor but all about demographics of population. These large metro areas have issues that they cant deal with, if they want to enact gun control for those places then I say leave that fight for those people that live there.... Argue all you want about gun control in NY and Chicago but leave me out of it, the last time I checked my guns were safely locked away.
