I don't know imports too well, only what I pick up from my younger brother but I'm willing to bet that that old corolla had a built/turboed engine and was probably rear wheel drive. Not exactly the econo box that you are thinking of.

After watching that video I couldn't help myself but to look at more. I stumbled across this, take note of the busa scooter at the beginning. It also looks like the busa supplies these guys with a lot of their tails, and I even caught a belly wing in there.

some people build scooters....


some people spend thousands on the latest 1000cc sportbike, then spend more money adding aftermarket brakes,brake lines, the latest GP spec tires, and custom exhaust and f/i maps....then take it to a track day and get smoked buy guys on stock 600's.

or buy the fastest motorcycle ever made.....and adds a turbo or nitrous.

Fast is a questionable word... Turn the clock back 100 years ago, and going 40-45 mph on a Ford Model T was extremely fast for the people back then. As time goes by, and technology advances, we become capable of going even faster. That is why the fastest production bikes being made (S1000RR, Busa, 2011 ZX10 minus the recall) are not fast enough for some folks. When I first got my Z06, I thought it was extremely fast stock and was perfectly happy, but after a while you get used to it and want more power, then comes the mods (turbo, nos, etc..). Then once you mod it till you can't do any more, you sell it. It's a vicious cycle.

I'm sure blue angel air force pilots laugh at the most modded turbo nitrous bikes out there. It's their raptor jets that are the definition of true speed.

And who knows... perhaps 20-30 years from now there will be an aircraft that will make the F/A 22 raptor seem slow and inferior.

i get it...I just think its funny that people choose to critisize what other people choose to modify....when we are exactly the same, we just have a different bike to start with.

there is a scooter gang that rolls around here.....I have seen them 20-35 bikes, from pretty cool rukus customs to some 50cc spree two strokes with custom expansion chambers....
