FYI Filler cap Drain is still just as any recessed fuel cap area has always been! drained to the bottom of! Busa is on the R-side fairing below and aft of clutch cover. We in the hotter climates don't need to worry about this much, but to you folk up in the cold freezing got to use antifreeze area's make sure that hose drains all the way. If you wash it or get water in that area and it stays in the pipe in the tank from a kinked or plugged hose it will split the tubing in the tank when it freezes. Not a good thing!

By the time it gets cold enough to freeze things (including me) my bike has been washed, dried, hooked up to it's Battery Tender, covered, and snoozing peacfully in the shed for some time.

No frozen lines on the bike or me.

Been there and done that!

If you have to leave your bike parked where dirt/stuff can plug that drain, or the hose gets crimped and water freezes it all over.
