Engine . Two tabs At same location on each side . drilled right fairing for access . I did not want them on the forks .

Looking good!! I installed grip heaters on mine. I had actual heated grips on my 07 (when I had it) for awhile but found I couldn't use my ThrottleMeister with them due to the hard plastic. I later installed grip heaters under the factory grips instead; the throttle side always heats up faster than the clutch side though! I've read it is normal though. It's been awhile since I had actual heated grips, (mine were bought from Cycle Gear) I cant remember if both grips heated at the same speed. I see yours have five levels of heat, pretty cool! My grip heaters just have a HI/OFF/LO setting, but they do the job!

Looks real good.

I have screens in my fairing so I don't think I could mount lights there like you did.

I'm looking forward to seeing the handlebar switch you are going to do.

Waiting on brake line due to incorrect line in kit . Was given a non abs line by accident.
Will post full picture how too thread when completed

That seat sure looks good, time to scallop out the screen for your master clearances, i found the original worked best for me, i tried a double bubble and a ZG touring screen but to much turbulance - im 6ft.

Watcha gonna put on the wee clamp next to the kill switch ? Ive used the same to mount my radar detector but fitted mine beside the riser/clamp.
You work fast and thorough going by all your pics on this and other threads

Can you give the details on the lights.... I like the light location too!

sure Captain Ill take some photos with body work off showing where they mount . By chance Isee your in Oklahoma . Are you close to fort sill ?

With the ABM kit the busa could have been a keeper, except for the fact that my 1999 had so many issues...

Got tired of the unrealiabilty.

Looks great.

Wow - it didn't take too long to get the correct brake line. Are they close?

So did you get a chance to ride it yet - what are your riding impressions?
Did you have a choice of handle bar styles? Or is it one size fits all?

Also did you change the "c10" clutch cover plate? If so, why?

Looking forward to your review.

Red I'm still waiting on the line for the brake . the line you see left is the supplied clutch line . Line should be here Wednesday . I spoke to my brother last night ( has Gen II with heli bars )
There is .5" further back , and 5 " higher than heli bars . It feels like my ZRX1200 . Bars come in 3 colors all same bend ( AKA SUPER BIKE ) black , silver , or Ti finish .
I chose Titanium finish for a up charge of $20 .
c10 cover plate is my name I got it from Scott Stites here on the Org .

Captain here are some pictures . FYI fairing drilling required . Left side ( stator cover side ) half moon the fairing with a round rasp / file . Course works better than a fine on the plastic .
Also Ill need to find link for lights from ebay motors for you .

Hardware M8 x 1.25 couplers with some 10 mm M8 allen bolts if I remember right . Red lock tight them into the coupler . then a few spacers to move lights away from body panels .

You are going to love those bars. I have them on both my Gen 2 Busa and my Gen 2 ZX14R. They make a huge difference if you have a bad back like me. I can now ride for hours with no discomfort on my back or my hands or arms. I actually use a Renthal bar that is a little higher than the Spiegler supplied bar and nothing had to be changed from the Spiegler kit.

I had Spiegler/LSL bars on my 08 Busa.
Spiegler will(or at least would)let you choose which ever bar bend you wanted to have sent with the top clamp.
They also included brake and clutch lines, and in the line color and banjo color of your choice.
Cool thing about the Spiegler lines is that the banjos can be turned to any direction.
Makes it possible to get your lines angled exactly the way you want them. Not a big deal, but a nice touch.
