The ramps worked OK as they were, but I have some heavy wire mesh that I am going to weld to the center section so the bike rolls better. I am also going to get a wheel chock soon, I needed to move the bike back to my house from Dallas, and had to so it the best way possible. A chock would have made loading a one man job, but thanks to my wife we loaded it without any problem. I am also going to weld up a square tube section for the handle bars to tie the straps into.

I had one of those. Great for single bike towing, but pay close attention to the weight limitation they quote. I overloaed mine (just a bit) and bent the axle.

Instead of strapping to the bars/grips, go around the bottom triple tree and out of the inside of the fairings (by the front wheel)... I don't have pics, but it makes for a more sturdy location and NO rubbing on the paint! Good Luck w/ the trailer... I think I may look into that as well... Good price!

Also, can the fenders be raised? If so, could you put a larger wheel?

The fenders just bolt onto the frame with a large bracket. You could weld a small piece of metal to the bracket for the length needed to raise the fenders above the tires.

looks good. i use a 2 place open snowmabile trailer. it has heavy duty axle and larger tires but it is higher off the ground can be a little difficult to load.

Get a baxley or one like it, You will not know how you did with out it! I nade quick release brackets to mount the chock in my trailer when hauling it. Ride in the chock, get off, a strap to each foot peg to the front corner and that is it! you do not need to strap anything else!. No straps to the bars or compressing the shocks.

Its great in the garage too. ride into it and get off. Bike sits straight up, makes it easy if you have to use a rear stand, slide it under and lift the rear up....no more fighting getting it straight to get the stand under.
