My previous dual sport was a 1995 Honda XR250L. It had typical marks from 15 years of off road riding and I was ready for something newer. I bought it about 4 years ago for $700 and last Friday I decided I'd put it on Craigslist for a high price of $1475 and a gentleman bought it Saturday for $1350. I couldn't believe it sold so quick and for so much money! So, I inquired about a 2006 DRZ400SM that a local had for sale. It had 2000 miles and was in mint condition. So, I bought it this morning for $2500!!! Whata deal! So, for $1150 out of pocket I upgraded from a 95 model bike in rough condition to the spiffy new machine shown below all in the same weekend. I couldn't be happier with my trading this weekend. See you guys at the Gap soon; next time I'll surely be on my motard...........Of course I'm still keeping the R1....
