My Thompson's Custom Cycle 3-9" Swingarm just arrived, along with the 30" Goodridge brake line, chain, and the socket tools, etc. I'm excited about lauching the Big Bad Busa. It will be a couple weeks til I get an off day and start working on it. I'll post pics, when done.

why didn't they powdercoat the sliders?

I don't know they were supposed to. I think it looks pretty tight as is. I do want to powdercoat my frame, though. I'm going for that Mono-color look. Yeahhhh!

Looking good. That arm looks tits!

I got a thompsons 3-9" arm also it will be installed soon .( I got the 600 underbraced one ) . Can't wait to get it on!

I should have spent the extra money and gotten the no-box mod and underbracing. I hope it will look good without it. Post pics of your bike frisbee when yours is done.

I finally got around to installing Thompson's 3-9" swingarm. I haven't raced it yet, but will as soon as I get a 2 PC suit. I don't wheelie in first anymore on my street tire. I just burn out to red line and burn out hitting 2nd. Can't wait to get a Shinko and race suit. I still need to get a longer chain guard and relocate my plate. I drive it daily to work and back. It isn't as bad as everyone seems to think when turning. I can feel it being a little heavy into a turn, but just barely. I do realize that on a rainy day I had better take the turns very slow to prevent the rear from sliding out. Anyway, got my seats back from Tobin. They are great! They even turned out better than I hoped and they followed instructions to the tee. I was worried that the passenger seat would turn out wrong because I added memory foam to the seat for my wife to have a softer ride. I mentioned this in my instructions and the seat came back awesome. I'm still having a hard time trying to post pics for an instant view. You'll need to double click to see them.

Bike looks good...I've got a Thompson 3-9" arm also...Get use to smoking the rear...

Bike looks great. From the pic, it looks as though your chain needs to be tightened just a tad bit. Extended swingarms require the utmost attention regarding chain adjusting.

Looks great ! Mine won't be installed until June 30th when I leave for my wedding . GoldenCchild is doing it for me ( also installing some NOS)

I lowered the front with 1.25" using the ReaperRisers and the back end approx. 1.5" using dogbones. I plan on getting a tripple tree and an adjustable link for the rear, so I can slam it for racing at the track. Right now I'm waiting on my 2 piece leather suit to arrive in the mail. Do you know anybody selling extra long chain guards? I need it to at least cover half of the rear sprocket in order to be legit at the track. I think I might end up making my own out of 1/8" aluminum sheet metal if I can't find one.

I like the way it looks a lot. Nice color choice too! Tell me that you didn't put tire shine on your tires for the pics?
