Hi all. New Gen 3 owner, mesa AZ

Upgraded from my trusty yamaha fz1

it out to the apache trail twisties, and did mt Lemmon near Tucson last weekend.

I'm 6'2, so feel a bit scrunched up. My fz1 was set up for touring.

Of course, loving the speed and looks!

Stripped all the decals and applied my own

Beautiful scenery!

Was it easy to take the kanji decals off?
Not too bad, small heat gun to warm it up and came off mostly in one piece. Left a bit of glue which I worked on with elbow grease and a spritz or two of wd40. The worst were the warning stickers and the dealer tag on the Windscreen bastards should know better

The FZ1 was also my ride before the Gen 2. Stolen from work, but had it not been for that event ...

Nice bike...like all Gen 3 :D I´ve had to laugh so loud, yeah the warning stickers....little bastards! I dont know, how many f.... words i shouted out, while i removed these.....i had the feeling, these stickers should survive the next world war!

I pass a guy on the way to work every morning, some type of chopped Yamaha cruiser...and it's in the low 20's the last couple months.

Congratulations you're gonna love it I traded it my R1 as well miss it but the Hayabusa amazing my safe
