New to the forums. Picked up my 05 Busa from a friend. Mechanics were solid cosmetics= not so much. Name is Chubb. Thanks for the info. Here are a few pics. I am rebuilding it as best as I can. I would like to change the current can to a Caf but having a hell of a time getting ID specs. I need a slip on with an ID of 57mm. Any info or someone selling one is even better. Otherwise model numbers are a gift also.

This '05 LE was the inspiration for my '08. Love the color. Hope you paint to match. You lQQk handy with tools. Why not just cut the damaged portion off and run it shorty

Dad- wasn't sure that could be done. The can is just a slip on so I was trying to find a replacement for it. I could get it done but it still would not be CF. I have a few other pieces and a tank cover with sort of that texture.
