New Arai

Just got a new Arai RX-7 Corsair:

First column, 3rd row down.

Really diggin' it! ...and just wanted to share.

I have two Arai's as well...a solid white RX-7 and a Vector (Shogun). Very nice lids.

Well, thanks for the good words. I feel even better about my choice. Very comfortable, and I have the visor apparatus down, I think.

Do you guys wear ear plugs with the Arai? It is definitely noisier than any other helmet I've worn before, because of the added ventilation I've read... and I would say the side pods too.

I just started wearing ear plugs a few weeks ago. It is amazing the difference it makes, I can still hear the bike but the wind noise distraction is gone. Speed and comfort went up immediatly!
I would recommend them no matter what brand helmet you use.

Which crash test authority do you have/use over there? In the UK we have recently had a new organisation created "Sharp" saftey helmet crash tests, it made me think twice before i purchased a new lid. SHARP - The Helmet Safety Scheme
