i'm going to install an undertail kit (with license plate mount kit) directly under the taillight. i think i want to add auxillary brake lights to brighten it up at night. my question is where should i install them. some locations i've considered are on the license plate frame or on the left & right underside lip of the undertail. here are the pics of the led lights (from signal dynamics).

where are some locations that you've used or seen that would work well? thanks.

I would say on the plate frame. Cleaner looking than bolted to the undertail.

Depending on the bracket, you could put one on each side vertically.

I carry those 3" mini-LED's too (we are dealer for Signal Dynamics)

I installed Hyper-Lights on my undertail couple years ago. Actually just used velcro the to stick on the Hyper-Lites (they're really small) beside the license plate. Once thought to install a 6" LED brake bar, but it would require re-making my license plate bracket.
