Hi all,
I noticed my tank bra developing a small puckering area and closer investigation revealed my tank has been punctured, poorly repaired and repainted by the previous owner. Starting to wonder if the bike was dropped and slid down the road until hitting a curb. The rest of the bike is flawless with no damage that I can see.
So now I'm looking for a new/used gas tank for my Busa that hopefully won't break the bank. Ebay has been no use at all, everything has been damaged in one way or another. I would like to get a blue/silver tank to match my bike but will be happy to get the correct tank and have it repainted. My understanding is the 1999 and 2000 Busa tank is different from the later years due to the fuel pump being mounted inside the tank.
If anyone has a lead or connection to a 2000 tank I would be very grateful for the assistance.
