My thoughts exactly!

The cold war is over.
Last I checked Norway wasn't part of Russia.
Our president is scheduled to be in Norway the day after the (failed) test.

Uh? Anyone else questioning things?


Side note: The blue "plume" intrigues me! Is it a reflection off of the water below, the atmosphere, or is it due to the chemicals in the propellant?
