Just a reminder...I sure Dennis mentioned and some others also...Baby 1st and 2nd gears until you've had a feel for the boost...Those two will throw your butt straight off if not careful...3rd gear is so impressive your may never use the lower two again...

well i went for my first ride today, it feels just like it did before the turbo. i was taking it easy, then had a little open road so i rolled on it and when the boost came in it was pretty impressive. then i came to a red light with no cars in front of me. so i think ill launch it from a dead stop like i used to before.

 a big no no   i sliped the clutch and launched it hard in 1st....front wheel about 6 in. off the ground like allways then........

 

 

 

it hit booooost  wowwwww  it shot straight up to 12 oclock so fast... i think it was trying to loop itself. i never been that straight up.
it definitly got my attention and respect!!!!  so i got on I 12 towards mississippi and it was clear so i rooled on it in 3rd, went to 4th then 5th and it pulls so hard it trys to rip ya arms off. im very pleased with the results, had no problems.... runs perfect...idles perfect.....but........the only things that concern me are ..... the dump pipe is LOUD!!!! ill stay away from the cops as much as i can... and when i was on it for 3 gears straight i noticed the boost gauge crept up to @9 pounds and i have a 6 pound spring in it. how can i stop the boost creep??? so i know i cant go to full throttle for long or it creeps up there. the turbo does sound cool, i can hear it spooling up and the bov sounds cool also.  ill take some pics of it as soon as the sun comes back....@ wednesday.

With a 6pd spring you should be running 6pds...Call Dennis...Do you have a liguid guage???

The dump isn't really load as you might think...You'll be ok around the popo...

no i dont have liquid filled gauges, just regular auto meter. the needle doesnt jump around, its very steady and easy to read. i guess ill just live with it. what kind and size wastegate do you have stunnah? and does yours creep at all?

I have an internal wastegate...Have no idea what size it maybe...Also have two stage boost controller low boost 5.5pds high 7.5pds...Had to swap to a liquid filled guage because the needle bounced so much on the other I couldn't read it...No problem with the liquid filled gauge it's nice and smooth...No boost creep...
