Thank you for the support about my first ride.

I was sooooo nervous and I was trying to figure out why and then I realized that it had been two months since I had been on my bike and a month since I took my MSF..So, I decided to take baby steps. I rode with James and that helped me get over my jitters and I rode around the neighborhood and I was ready for the back roads. I feel in love with it all over again and enjoyed myself. Getting use to new gear was a little tough but once I starting riding, I didn't even think about the leather being stiff some. I am ready to ride again tomorrow on some back roads. I am ready for Spring time..

James didn't pressure me in anyway and I was able to ride my pace and it was great. Thanks RSD, you were right about being tired, I didn't even think about factoring that in until you said something so it was nice to do short rides.

I am sure more pics will be posted tomorrow

Thanks again

Glad you are taking this at your own pace... Having rode with the both of you for a couple days at the gap this last year, I could not imagine a better tutor for you than James. He can ride that bike 2 up better than many are riding solo.

I am sure that your skills will build rapidly and so will your confidence... Hope you are able to bring your bike up to the gap this year.

Now ..... where are the pics?

Congrats on your first ride today. Also, welconme aboard!  Just dont try to ride at someone else's pace - stick to your own, build your confidence and abilities and you'll be fine.  =)

Thank you for the compliment Randy! We hope to get out again today. We are heading to Lowe's now to get some tile for our bathroom remodel. Juli's confindence is growing and she fell in love with her bike all over again(Bruce, aka Katana 750)

I am not very impressed with the Chatterboxes at this point, will have to see how they do today.

Congratulations! That is a great. It is always nice to hear about someone new enjoying the ride, especially if it is a spouse:) I am going to point The Wife to this thread. It will give her confidence to try again I hope.

That's great! Glad you enjoyed the ride. The Kat750 is a good bike to help your riding skills. I had one before the Busa to get back into riding and enjoyed it.

Congrats on a good ride!!! It's just keeps getting better from here.
