They had 2 straps hooked together on each side. Could see the right one break somewhere on the upper one. Wore out, deteriorated strap. Bad deal alright.
I have always hauled my dirt bikes in the bed of my truck with just 2 regular camber straps hooked from the bed loops to the bars and a fork saver between the tire and fender. In several years, and thousands of miles on less than stellar roads, never a problem.

that sucks. I've seen a Harley under it's trailer here in GA a few years ago. It came undone and the guy locked up his brakes. The truck stopped but the bike didn't until it was about half way under it.

I mean.. you know that he should have had the one going to the hood of the car not the trunk.. That way when it fell, it would have yanked up the hood so he couldn't see where he was driving..
