He got exactly what he deserved. The only thing better would have been somebody there to enforce his cleaning up of the mess he made. I have never seen an engine blow where the rod actually made its way outside of the block to the road. It had to be around 10K on the rpm scale... it was well into the power band. It seems it got to hot (no kidding ) and was losing power shortly before it blew.
