problem is riding like a human. if they went with direct control of throttle, brakes, transmission and clutch it would be much different. steering could be handled with a modified active damper arrangement. would add maybe 30 to 40 pounds weight.

Not sure what the point is though. I can see a driverless car but if you don't want to pilot a motorcycle why bother?
 
The most expensive RC motorcycle on the planet! I am with Arch here; I don't see what the end use of this is, except as a drone of some kind. The corporate boys (Yamahas not alone here) are desperate to fill the void created by the global decline of motorcycle sales, things like this and the various 3 wheel concepts are just lost on me, but perhaps the millennials are all over it?
