Hi Guys
I recently purchased a 2000 Hayabusa for commuting in New Zealand. It gets pretty cold and very windy out here. I was thinking of modifying some aspects for commuting, Installing heated handle bars, Win-shield height increasing and and Helibars. Are Helibars useful and yeah are any other things that I could modify to ease my commuting. Thanks

Tank bag, heated grips, some kind of aftermarket seat, buell foot pegs, touring windscree and bar risers of some sort.

Depends on what you need to carry and what your travel distances are.. my favorite mods:

1. Cruise Control
2. Trash can mod
3. Kisan flasher mod
4. GPR Stabilizer
5. Doran tire pressure sensors
6. HID, LED headlights.

Heated grips only heat your palms.
While the cold wind freezes the backs of your fingers and hands.
Heated gloves are much better, especially with an adjustable thermostat.
