Gawd what a desision to make. I started with 39cc---with all the other sizes in between up to the GSX1300R. It has truely
been my favorite bike of all time. Trouble is i am 54 now and can still twist it up pretty good. [ask T-Fox] . As we all know the thing just wants to rip----83 in 1st-104 in 2nd-129 in 3rd
150ish in 4th-176 Gps in 5th--6th dunno?? I have had pretty good self control with the so called loud handle. Street riding has become more dangerous because of AGING Cager Drivers.
plus the deer pop. is around 3.5 million nowdays.
So iv'e speeded- cornerd-wheelied-----all without a moving violation since 1967...don't know how that could be?

??
Maybe i could say [been there done that]
But i will have a KTM540 enduro---or a 450--I will never give up on two wheels. 6,500.00 2001 in great shape 20k on the clock-Ti Muzzy PCII and Givi Luggage and more. PM me..

Why sell it? You have the best looking stock color scheme going, you have decent riding weather most of the year, you've been doing it so long without any problems now......why sell?!?

Mc-- there have been some horrific accidents around here lately---not bikes though... 86 year old man pulls out i front of two chicks in a car--2 dead. Dodge pickup passes over double yellow head on into a semi---all died ----3 So many Bambi's around here --just makes me sick--moutain lions BEARS-- big rabbitts-- and i like to go fast----just getting nervous--i have had an guardian angel for many years...9 lives one could say...i prolly am up to number 8 by now-- this is not easy for me.
I plan to build my 83 Toy 4x4 into a true rock crawler---and 67 chev with cabover, and a BIG 4 stroke KTM. Tears....kinda---Busa is a awsome ride-- memories to last a lifetime. Thanx

Think about it for a while Ralph, you might want to keep it for the occassional trip with the wife on the back. Just cruise until you get out where there's less wildlife maybe.

I'm sure its a tough decision, so definitely take your time and think it over. At some point I think we all face that decision. Whatever you decide we'll be here for you.

Dang.. I feel for you Ralph..

I am 43, married, kids, lots of stuff going.. I often think about if riding is REALLY the smartest thing for me to be doing.

I am not going to even try to talk you out of it, because I know how you feel. I will say think about it and dont make a rash decision.

and yeah, I still remember the time we were riding and you were ahead of me and just wheelied it. lol

Do what ya got to do. Sometimes those little voices in the head are for a reason..

I mean everyone has the little voices right? I mean mine talk to me all the time... Kind of entertaining actually, the voices in my head ALLWAYS seem to have the answers to the questions I allways ask. muah ha ha....

Yep I agree with Ron, I think about it more this year too since we lost Bog & Swan ... Mikes_Hardware and a couple others. My thought is you do what you gotta do. I would probly let it stay put in the garage til I felt better about it.
