I have designed a trunk lock cylinder delete with the Hayabusa and GSX-R in mind, but technically it will work with all Suzuki models from 1999-Current year.
I have talked about this product in my build thread for a bit now, but I wanted to make a dedicated post for the product now that it is available for purchase.
The idea here was that there are many people that have deleted the ignition switch, but either still have to use their key for the trunk, or they’ve removed the lock cylinder and are left with an open hole in the body work. In the latter case, you usually see the cable for...

Thank you but I was looking for something similar to the thread Kiwi directed me to. It
Ok, I’m curious… why do you feel the need to ditch the key lock barrel?I tried that but his website is not active anymore

What is the advantage for you?
They have a facebook page but their last post was 08/25 and it still shows the same website. FalkonworksI tried that but his website is not active anymore
LOL I locked the hump down on my Gen2 once only to remember I had forgotten to connect the lock mechanism cable into the latch. Someone on here got me through that. I forget the exact procedure but you can bend the tupperware under the riders seat and reach back in there to the latch. It hurts and if you have big arms, it's gonna really hurt but it's doable if you know how the latch works. ...not a good solution for your buddy but the idea of a keyless trunk lock brought it to mind.
That was a big problem for a while and we had a lot of post on how to get back in.
Aaahh… makes perfect sense! It’s actually not for me. I know a guy who has his Busa set up primarily for racing and he doesn’t really need his keys at all since he has an ignition delete but still needs his key to access the trunk…wants to totally get rid of his key.
He knows a guy that has a keyless trunk and he really wants a set up like that.
I was one of them! That was a big problem for a while and we had a lot of post on how to get back in.
