Just wondering if there are any easy tricks to taking weight of the Busa.
Can someone tell me what the peg weight is and how to remove it.
Thanks in advance.

The easiest way for weight reduction is with a 4 into one header, about 20lb reduction. Also lose the pair valve at the same time. On the footpeg weights, take the little snap ring off the pin and pull out pin to remove the whole footpeg. Put the peg in a vise clamping down on the weight so as not to scratch the peg. Take a impact driver and remove both screws. Yea they are tough to remove. They are two different screws, the short one you can reuse. The longer one is going to have to be cut off and retreaded or simply buy shorter screws. Note: The screws must be reinstalled, they hold the rubber on the peg. Also ride with other busas so you don't have to carry your tools, hehe. Sorry, I better hush before they learn all my tricks, haha. Tim

Sub-frame swap (around 4lbs)............. Swap aluminum for steel. Custom alloy fasteners up to 15lbs. Swap wheels (very expensive) for some aftermarket. Remove stock blinkers and fender. Replace blinkers with?
