Light Bulb Types

Can anyone tell a "dumb ass" (yes me) the "regular" plain ole english light bulb types for the brake lights and the turn signal lights, front and rear, please?

I think the brake lights are 1157, but I don't know about the turn signal lights. The manual says 25W....something, but that doesn't help me when I'm at an auto parts store.

Someone shoulda answered this by now...oh well, I just saw it. The bulbs you're looking for for stock turn sigs are 1156, and yes stock tail/brake lights are 1157. Enjoy!
