The prices on 19 inch LCD screens is dropping. I have seen some good prices recently. Try doing a search on WWW.pricegrabber.com

Watch out..buy from a dealer with a good rep. Viewsonic makes a good monitor.

I just picked up two Dell 19" for just over $500 each. Right now, they are the best bang for the buck based on performance reviews VS price. I also bought a dual head video card to drive them. After trying a dual monitor system and my friends company I fell in love and had to spend the money. Being able to have two screens, two programs running side by side is amazing. I do a lot of CAD work so it really makes things alot easier.
