LARGE AIRBOX MOD

HAS ANYONE WHO HAS DONE THE LARGE AIRBOX MOD COME UP WITH SOME KIND OF AIR FILTER??? I JUST BOUGHT MY BIKE (PAST SPRING) AND WAS TOLD THE BOX WAS MODDED BUT WASNT SURE WHAT WAS DONE(HE ONLY HAD BIKE FOR A MONTH)OR SHOULD I GET ANOTHER BOX??? CAN ANYONE HELP

Get a cylindrical filter from the hardware store, or for a car and drop it in there.

you are better off doing a small box mod and adding a Brock's air box lid.

When I first got my bike used to be instructions on the net how to modify the 99-00 airbox , The large mod they cut out the area the airfliter sat on and left about an inch to glue a foam cleaner to. I used the small mod where you remove the area inside the airfilter and removed the flapper(but not the valve yet) UNI sells a roll of foam to make your own air cleaner
