Hey guys i just ordered soupy full lowering kit. It will be 1" in the front and i'm gonna do 2" in the rear and i need a good kickstand. i been searching and i havent found anything really usefull. i really like the tribal shorty stand bud i noticed that alot of people are running the adjustable yani shiki style but its too plain for me, but if the adjustable is best and safest for my baby then i'll buy it. Any info will help out alot. here is the link to the one i want

If you get the spencer one make sure you put thread lock on the adjusting screw once you have it at your desired height. If not, it can fall out while riding and the bottom portion will follow.

That happened to me and I ended up replacing it with this one:

3 reasons why this one is better.
1 - No tools needed to adjust height. I even replaced the ring with a paperclip to make it even easier.
2 - Key-chain ring secures pin. No worries of it falling out.
3 - More "heavy-duty". Perfect for a 550lbs bike.

I found it on Ebay.

I highly encourage you to NOT buy the Yanis Shiki. I had a Yani on my bike and the thing started to bend out. They are not using strong enough metal. I truly beleive that if I had not been paying attention then eventually this kickstand would have broke and my bike would have gone down. I am really not a fan of Yani Shiki. They are just putting out junk to people that do not know any better. One of these days they might hurt some one. If tribal is your thing get the tribal. Just hold on to your original links and kickstand in case you ever want to go back to stock height.

I used Soupy's kit also and bought Kickstand from spencercycle.com for $99. For the adjusting it has two holes on it and one screw. I went and bought another bolt to put in the 2nd hole once I got the height figured out. Can't ever be to safe!
+1 on the thread lock. Just a tiny dab is enough. Adjustable to me just seemed safest. I'll sacrifice a little Bling for peace of mind. The one with the pull out pin is nice, but it's one of those invite things IMO. Got "Pull Me!" & "Keep Me!" written all over it.
