k8 front sprocket

Yep, easy. Air gun might help, some come loose easily, some like to be a pain, other than that, no big deal.

Remove left fairing, unhook shifter linkage ( 10mm bolt ), some people remove the speedo sensor ( 1 6mm allen ), remove the four 8mm bolts for the sprocket cover ( 2 top ones are longer ). Cover comes straight out with wiggling...there is a clutch rod under cover so don't bend it. Remove the speed sensor on the shaft ( 6mm normal thread), Loosen the 36 mm sprocket bolt ( normal thread ) while holding the brakes and off the stand. Now just put it back on the stand and loosen the rear wheel and slide it back to get the play to get the new sprocket in. It is fairly easy to do.. try not to pull in the clutch lever or you will have to depress the actuator on the sprocket cover to get it back on.
