Holy crap, what a wild story - great read Doug, it's more than just a ring. It's a symbol, and not just of its literal meaning. Good for you Doug - a 25 yr long journey to get here & share with us. Well done Doug - keep moving forward.

made me tear up a little. oddly enough, I just took mine off. it's on my dogtag chain now. it got stuck on a piece of the aircraft I work on and damn near ripped my finger off. but more power to you cap, too many people think it's beyond their ability to regain their health, just thank God for the motivation, determination, and patience, and better late than never. you're bike is getting faster too
