they are not legal in IL...however, the LEO's stay busy enough around here handling domestic disputes and shootings in the projects that they leave us alone most of the time...however, they can use it as an excuse to pull you over if they decide they want to check you out

it says they shine amber, so you may be okay there. I still think it's asking to get pulled over though.

Technically, any modification to the bike at all is illegal in Cali. when you deal with lights, mudflaps, reflectors and exhaust.
