Iat Sensor - Error C21 - Gen I Busa

I have a Hayabusa (1397 kit) engine I am running in 3 Wheeled motorcycle.
I have all the "C" error codes addressed accept for one - C21 which is the IAT sensor.
Curious if anyone is running there Busa without an airbox as I am. What did you do with the IAT sensor as it obviously is mounted IN the airbox?
Also, shouldn't I be able to at least start the bike with a C21 error code?
BTW - I went to my local bike shop and flashed the ECM. Did not mess with any of the fuel mapping but he said he "turned off everything" to simplify things so the bike should start.

Any help is appreciated

Tried that ... now all the error codes are gone. But now when I try to start it I get no error codes until I try for a couple of times. THEN I get
an F1 code.. I try to put it in dealer mode an nothing happens.

Any thoughts???

forgot to ask gen 1 or 2. you still need to plug it in but it will be fixed
