I have not seen the 07's but they way the 05-06 is made - yep , could turn it into a trip bike .
The way both peg brackets bolt on is where you can make a plate with 4 bolt holes , two for original position and two for bolting the brackets lower on the plate .
Looks like up to 2 inch drop could be had pretty easy . Really only needs around 1 inch drop for 34 inseam rider . Was a mod I made to my old 9R and worked well for low cost .
Raising the bars could be looked into as well .
These bikes have all the grunt one would ever need riding solo and windscreen works A-OK . A two up bike it just ____ ain't
