Thanks everyone!

I had my helmet, gloves, and riding jacket on. As far as legs, I was wearing jeans. Just goes to show you that jeans are not always the best protection. My doc maartens (sp?) seemed to hold up well.

Y'all are so right. Men can not stand seeing a busted up bike in the garage. Lol.

Dang, girl! That sucks. I'm glad that you're ok though. Could have been a lot worse. You'll be back in the saddle in no time!

Get well. Sorry to hear about this.

BTW. Your SV doesn't have an inline 4, so finding a 4-2-1 for it will be impossible.

Why not take the ends off the can and flatten it back out. It doesn't look creased.

OOPS! I am not that knowledgeable on those. I thought all full exhaust systems were 4-2-1...hee hee. I will try the flattening (or have hubby try). Yoshi sells just the pieces to "patch and fix" (I don't know the technical term for them), but it will be a project for hubby if I try to go that route.

Hubby also mentioned today that I need a set of rear sets. I am not sure how difficult it will be to find those for a gen I SV.

Glad your okay and healing... Just cut the pipe and make it a real thumper, LoL... The wifey had mesh style pants and just one small oopsie, just a simple drop, tore them... That was it and I bought her a set of cortech leather pants. They might be a lil long for her but they'll last a long time and not tear... Her words "Damn and to think that those pants were going to protect me if I crashed, cheap" LoL... Also bought her a Joe rocket leather jacket but she says its too hot to wear it so she's sticking with her teknic mesh... Also get a great pair of boots and don't skimp... Sidi makes a great pair of womens boots... Tecknic suk and it was a total waste of my money buying a pair. I ended up with some Alpine stars for myself... Hmmmm maybe its time for a GSXR??? LoL
