Thanks,guys. I'm starting with a cheapy ( o.k. freebie), the kickstand mod. Then I'll do the exhaust/PC III. I'm going to break her in first, though. I've been researching exhaust in the mods section of this forum........have I mentioned recently how great this forum is?

Great! Looking forward to it! I do feel dumb for ever questioning which bike to buy, in as the Busa is blowing my mind with what a great machine it is. This is by no means a knock on R1's, but it's sure nice to find that perfect match.

Yes, in 20 degree weather no less. Even wanted a helmet to match! She has a touch of Busa fever as well

You're right, the Busa has the good points of the FJR and takes it to the next level. That Feejer's going to feel like station wagon now

The smile will lessen the first time you drop her (so install sliders as an early mod. Put them on BEFORE you need them)! Well, for a short while, but the addiction, and smile, will continue the next time you get her out and ride!

Thanks, guys. The mods I'm aiming for are 42T rear sprocket (mainly to shorten the wheelbase a bit) and the SV650 rear links to quicken the steering a tad. and yes thanks for the reminder, sliders. Tufbusa, that kid had better bring his lunch
