How Low Should I go? 2008 Busa

Hi All,

I have been looking through loads of threads.

I have ordered now front clamp, soupy lowering kit for the rear and of course a nice roaring toyz stand.

Baring in mind the UK roads arent up to much I assume compared to the American, how low should I go??

Front.
Once you got the know how, how long does it take to adjust up or down as required?
Should the suspension be stiffened?
How low do you recommend?

Rear.
Not so concerned as I have bought the adjustable soupys linkage so can adjust as and when.

Mainly ride on my own, sometime 2 up

From what I have read, 1" on front 1 1/2" on rear, or is this being too careful?

Keep it at the minimum. Trust me when I say that American roads suck for lowered bikes, so it's likely to be worse if you feel that your roads are worse. I have a 2" drop and I drag on even the smallest speed bumps. I also drag in uneven areas when I'm running a bit faster than I should. Dangerous to say the least.
