Hole in intercooler a big problem or not??

My mcxpress intercooler (with minimal front tire clearance) has hit the tire a couple times (previous owner) and put some small cracks or holes in it. i plugged off the outlet of the intercooler slightly and at a couple thousand RPM's could feel air pissing out of the cracks.

the bike has no problem gettin to 1 bar. i'm not really worried about it sucking in dirt as the holes are pretty small.

does this pose a problem in anything else?

nope. No problem at all. At worse you lose .02 psi.....big deal.

You'd be surprised how big of a leak it takes to really affect a turbo system. I ran around for 30 miles before I noticed my air box had blown partially off my carbs.....I knew it was down on power, but it wasn't to the point of "oh my god, something is majorly wrong!" loss of power.....
