hi I try to bind to busa engine can you recommend way of combine?

Hi..

I will join two engine with big 3 gears like "oOo" small circle is hayabusa's engine large one is shaft to main engine...

Is this can hold high rpm like 11000 rpm?

I don't think about making one crank shaft and new case ETC..

Hartley Enterprises was designing and building these engines, bu sold all the rights away to the design. The buyer is suppose to be doing further development but nothing yet. Hartley is doing a few for the US customers...

What are you trying to do? there may be another avenue...

H1 - V8 normally aspirated engine prices and specifications
2800cc: 400hp, 220ft/lbs. 2900cc: 450hp, 240ft/lbs. 3000cc: 500hp, 260ft/lbs.
H1 2800cc (67mm stroke x 81mm bore) Engine: 400hp 220ft/lbs torque
Suzuki required top end engine parts as below:-
• Gen 1 (>08) Cylinder head complete with valves, springs, valve buckets, shims, etc
• Cylinder barrel
• Throttle bodies inc injectors
• Cam cover, seals, inlet rubbers, gaskets, clamps, etc
• Ignition coils Total £7,000.00

Bottom end , dry sumped, with all performance parts as detailed below:-
• 6061-T6 Billet crankcase, dry sump, front cover and rear cover
• 60 amp mini race alternator
• Flywheel for 5.5" or 7" clutch and starter
• 40mm billet velocity stacks, adapter seals and valve cover nameplate
• 67mm 4340 billet and nitrided crank with 42mm journals

I believe he wants to make helicopter fly. ya have to admit I would feel safer in a helicopter powered by a busa engine then a Harley engine.

If I make good prototype I must sujest to suzuki as business partner..

My aim is piston helicopter about 800 hp or more over

but I already know about them.. I need my original one...first geared combination is my first protype and for study engines...

It's extreme one... very light and very powerfull... I will one busa engine's at 1300 rpm running test and combined busa engines running test two :)

Don't you need the crankshafts to be vertical to power a helicopter? If so, you are going to have to reengineer the oiling system.
 
He first has to figure out how to get two turbo Busa engines together as he's gonna need them to get 800hp.
Then running turbo engines full throttle constant to keep it in the air ill watch happen from the ground. :laugh:


And the reason we are not using an engine designed for a HELICOPTER engine is?
 
He can use a constant gear type planetary drive to turn the prop... He is gonna have to be thinking out the box. I'll help you anyway you like, except as a test pilot..
 
turbine powered would be simpler, lighter, more compact, and probably cheaper.
 
Seems it would be easier to use some sort of belt drive to connect the 2 engines to a transaxle of some sort that rotates power 90 degrees to turn the props. I was thinking belts because 2 independant engines hard linked with gears are going to really vibrate. Better to lose some power in the belts than have all that vibration tearing things apart.


You could maybe have a throttle on one engine and then have the other engine match rpm with a servo operated throttle (sort of like a cruise control keys on the rpm). That might keep them synced up better. If you can use a single blower to both engines, that would save some weight too.

Oh 800 hp must achieve by two V8 or V12 busa engine ..not one turboed busa... turbo required for high altitude and It must designed for 50-70% throtle area..not 100% :)
 
What about the ariel v8? It was designed by hartley using the busa engine

Oh I already said I need my own engine... I think about sell it and use to my car and helicopter... helicopter is far from now but..

I can test engine for car at last of this year.. now I planning now :) and I definitly need suzuki's permission and support
