Hi.

A Pommie who's moved to Australia.
Had a B-King since they were released, had a couple of Hayabusa's,
still got a naked/unfaired 2002 model (my home made B-King...LOL)
and a tweeked GSX11ET and a 99 Bandit 12.
I like my 4-pot naked Suzuki's.

Im on the Australian Hayabusa forum and B-King.org but just found
you guy's whilst googling something.

Always looking for info and entertainment and to share the little I
know and a bit of banter.

Tony.

My B-King. On the road 31/10/07.
One of the first to hit the streets in Australia.

My 02 Busa.
It was built "pre-B-King" release and you couldn't buy a naked bike with ball's.
The narrow minded normaly tell me its ugly. Maybe it is ? Who care's ?
im a rider not a show bike builder.

If you can see past its looks, back to back with a B-King its shorter,
lighter, better tank range, more leg room, MUCH better for pillions and
not so common (B-Kings are popular around here) and at half the price.

Have you got any close up pictures of the bars on your Busa? Old injuries haunt me, eventually my Busa is gonna hafta get more upright, it's gonna turn out like yours.

There are a few kits to fit hight or wider bar's and still keep the tupperware fairing.
I looked at one that was listed as a "comfort kit". Im sure there are others.

I used an ABM top yolk kit off the shelf in the EU but there are others or
someone will knock one up.....
(they normaly come with pull-back risers to clear the fairing but I specified uprights)

I used Renthal "789 Streetfighter" bars. Not available in AU but less than $80 to the door
from the UK. Streetbike bars are around 700mm, dirtbike's around 800mm BUT many dirtbike
bars dont have enough straight to take the extra switch gear off a road bike.
789 Streetfighter bar's are inbetween at about 750mm.

If you loose the fairing and keep the standard clock's
you'll need to remount them.
I used a German GSG part but you could make something similar.

G'day mate, you know Gary?
He's a bit of hoon down your way!
Should meet up and do a "Ride about".:beerchug:

Just kidding, All of the above was typed in a deep southern drawl.

:welcome: to the org.
Ride safe in Oz,

Nice Scoots BTW!

Thanks for that. When I get around to it the fairings are gonna go. I hadn't seen a bracket for the factory guages either so that's cool.
My Busa's eventually gonna turn into stuntbike(and still be street legal) so those parts are what I'll be needing. My plans are for a few mods to break 200mph at a one mile track, then the fairings can go.

...that has now been squeezed into a 750 frame.

Most folk dismiss it because of its industrial looks, and dont get it because
its not another "pretty" bike but it is very well done and more about being
a mental riders toy. I love it.

Pete's T-713 would slaughter my Naked Busa,
I'd love something like that. Maybe one day.

There's a few "fun" naked bikes down here.

Pete's business partner Ben, has a neat 220+hp ZX9R.
Again, not just a show bike, get's used hard. Street and strip.
