Help about fuel filter

i have a 00 busa with the external fuel pump. my fuel filter is clogged so i ordered one from bike bandit...they sent one but the hole in the end of the filter is offset....the hole in the filter on my repair manual looks to be dead center. do i have the wrong one and if so what does the one i have go to?

better pic of manual notice how the hole of the filter is in the center but the plate that it fits on has an offset nipple that should fit a filter with an offset hole. i dont get it

this is the microfish from bike bandit...you click oem parts, 2000 suzuki hayabusa RY, pump assy (model x/y)

im not positive but i would think that the 99 maybe has the center hole and the 00 model has the offset hole?

You ordered the offset one because BB only had the 10a listed.   CLICK this site and look at their listing, two listed.  You'll have to open up the pump and see if you got the correct replacement filter.  

    Also there's better places to shop than BB, click for  comparison shopping.    Hope this helps

well i opened up the pump and thankfully its the right one. i'd have been pissed if i would have had to order the other and wait another week.
