How come I had to start out on a 50cc? I guess some people want it all NOW, and how can an 18 kid afford one of these things anyways?

its quit simple. i live with my father, make 0 payments and i work fulltime and already have a few thousand saved for down payment, etc. i dont see why i could not easily afford it. all i need to do now is take bike classes, then ill be zooming around cars with my new busa. :usa:

I think a section ought to be created for newbies. Typically i'm rider friendly, but I always wonder about the attitude of riders...as well as the sincerity of the questioner to want sincere advice. And i was pretty content not to respond since Narcis had done such a great job responding. But i will say this Noobie your attitude about riding is one which may cost you more than the bike itself. My only hope is that zipping past cars comment was meant as a joke. If not we'll most likely be reading your obituary in the near future, because while i'm a big advocate of the MSF riding class I realize attitude and ego get more people in trouble than the bike they ride or the years of experince they possess.

no matter how my "attitude" and whatever may sound, i said i would take it very ease, and i will be doing just that. im not the idiot that i may appear to be, and no, i wont actually be zooming around cars as if there cones when i first get my bike, you can take that as a joke. thanks to all of the replies i have recieved, i plan to be very careful and take things slow with my bike and take training lessons, etc but im definitely getting a busa.

Get the Busa, be cool, take the course, know your limits, keep it maintained professionally if you can't, take your time and you will love it. It has a few quirks, but every bike has some. When your piloting the ultimate road missile, you tend to ignore every other bike made. Just keep yourself in check and don't let your ego write checks that your skills can't cash. Remember the cops are alot smarter than you think so don't paint a target on your back. Peace Bro ")
