Is it recommended or sugguested to drop from the stock NGK CR9E to a CR8E plug when running 6-10 pounds of boost? What would be the best heat range to run?
For starters,NGK plugs heat range numbering is backwards compared to other plug brands.Example:CR8E is 1 heat range HOTTER than a CR9E.We have produced big HP#'s with NGK CR9E standard hayabusa plugs Gapped at .018-.022 for turbo application.Genrally,you want to run a Colder plug in hi compression situations/Nos/or turbo,But the stock plug is fine for 6-10lbs boost.
