Anyone using a headlight modulators? We talk about them in the MSF Basic Rider Course and I am sure they increase visibility. However, I had a guy behind me this morning while stuck in traffic on the way to work and they are annoying as shiz in your rear view mirror. To the point that I wanted to adjust the mirror so the light was not flashing in my eyes. I did not but some people might making the guy less visible.

After seeing this guy and the HIDs on BusaPebbles bike I would have to say that the HIDs are way easier on the eyes of other drivers and just as likely to be visible to other drivers. I am no longer a fan.

Thoughts?

Annoying, maybe.
Attention getting, you betcha!

Some of the higher end units have an option to change the modulation rate.

Morning my brothers...

No doubt they are attention getting but do we want to be so annoying that cage drivers position their mirrors so we are not visible because of the flashing?
