Headlight adjusting

[/B]I just put new HID's on the bike and the bright is waaaay off. Does anyone know the specs on how to dial them in. like, park the bike fifteen feet back from a wall and the low beam should be hitting x amount of feet off the ground, and the high beam should be hitting x amount of feet off the ground. Stuff like that. Thanks!

I just did a HID upgrade thinking I would see better, it just lit up the patch 40 feet in front of my bike brighter. So I pointed it upwards so that I can see 200 feet in front of me and will lower it as I get fix it tickets. None yet.

Sorry, I don't know of any formula.

Best way/time I've found to set my headlights on whatever vehicle is on a slightly foggy night. Go out of town where it's good and dark, set the low beam as high as you can without everybody thinking your bright lighting them. And with the fog you can get the low beam centered and see exactly where the spotlight high beam is going. Set that sucker so it lights everything for a quarter of a mile straight down the road.
