Heading to VEGAS!!

don't sleep through the whole thing! i've never been to Vegas so i can't really direct you toward things to actually do

Don't buy beer or drinks from the bar, way expensive, gamble and they bring you drinks for free, tip them a dollar and they come back about every ten minutes or you buy beer from the convenient stores along the way, not bad prices.

If you wanna go clubbing dress nice, we tried getting in a few and no way Jose! Not dressed appropriate. Not that I'm a big club guy anyway.

Rent a car, they are cheap and there is a ton of great casinos off the strip and really cool bars.

Go see red rock canyon, Hoover dam

I'm heading out there in about 3 weeks for my 9th time, my favorite vacation spot, is a blast.

Drink lots of red bull and beers:thumbsup:

All somewhat depends on what you are into. There's everything to do there just depends on your interests and budget  I'm sure there's plenty of suggestions if you can point us in the right direction.

thanks for the input. i really dont gambel but, where the hooker spots at lol?, j/k). might catch a few shows. am more of a site seeing kinda guy. might hit a nice restraunt or club.

One thing I did when I was there one of my 20 time. I went to every casino and bought a $1.00 chip. I brought them home and gave them to my best friend that never got to go before he passed away. Make sure when you go in to the casinos that you LOOK UP Some of the art work is amazing. I plan on going back soon myself. Like someone else said. Go to the Hover Dam and the Red Rock Canyon. Go downtown to old Las Vegas and see the light show. Go see this guy.

I've been a few times, for sight seeing there's a TON of things.

As mentioned, Red Rock Canyon is a must do if you like nature things. Even if you dont its pretty dang impressive. DO make sure you take plenty of water, refreshments if you go. They didnt have the most stocked up vending machines and they were $$ last time I was there. Red Rock Canyon Interpretive Association | Las Vegas, Nevada

The strip at night is pretty awesome. There is a monorail that connects various places together which is pretty handy if you get tired or need a break from the heat. You can't really just cross the road either, only really at specific spots or via bridges. Plan your walk accordingly or you might find yourself backtracking a good bit. Hoover Dam is certainly a good one to see. Try to go at dawn or sunset for some amazing views and to beat the heat  If you go that far, you are really right near Historic Rt 66. When we went we made a day trip of it and hauled to the Grand Canyon and back. It was a full day but we had fun with it and honestly spent a pretty good amount of time at the canyon. Then we had a blast ripping back down parts of old Rt66. A day rental is pretty cheap depending on what you get, but places like Hertz do rent their performance line (err convertible C6 anyone  ) for a price. Alternatively you could opt for a helicopter ride out to the canyon, sight see from above, do lunch on the floor and fly back in a day.

There's just about anything in the world to do though. Shooting fully auto guns, driving huge tonka toys (real monster construction equipment), off road adventures, dune buggy racing, etc etc

Have fun with it and take lots of pics

I've lived here for over 20 years and theres still too much to find to do. Legal "clean" ladies are jokingly referred to be found over the hump in Pharump. Pharump is about 45 minutes outside the southwest side of town. Clark County, although they are all over the place, prostitution is illegal. Gaming is abundant of course and everywhere you go there will be some device tempting to take your money.

I prefer to play backjack at the tables. I feel as if I'm getting more from my donated funds as opposed to just dropping it into a machine. Food is everywhere. As far as a realy good central restaurant i highly recommend Oceans, a steak and seafood joint located inside the City Center property. Priority places to visit: Red Rock, gorgeous views and hiking. Lake Mead and Hoover Dam, you really earn a new respect for the Lake when you see it in person. And if you get the time head up the Mt Charleston either the old Lodge, the new one, or Lee Canyon Ski Resort, we're expeced to get some rain over the next three days so I'm sure the skiiing will be great.

Off the top of my head thats a few ideas. Ill post more as they come to me....... Hope you have a great time though.

I was kidnapped on a business trip many years ago and it seemed like a 20 mile ride to a place called the Mustang Ranch or something. Freaked me out
