HD meet in Ocala, FL

Met in Ocala Friday afternoon at a local hotel where everyone was staying. Gjoker, our son and myself rode up around 1pm. Took about 90 minutes to get there. A nice ride, as it was about 86 degrees, and not a lot of traffic.

They all got together for a short meeting and then the beer drinking started.

We played poker that night, us 3 all lost our stack pretty quickly.

Saturday we were up and breakfast eaten by 9am. Got on the road by 10am to see some backroads of Florida:

Stopped at a HD Dealer so everyone could grab some shirts ..

Then back on the road. Here we are taking a short break:

Then onward to our lunch spot, Crackers in Crystal River.

Then back to Ocala, and the hotel by 630pm.
About 230 miles that day.

Again, Oysters and beer and poker. Again, us 3 lost, although this time I hung in for a couple hours longer than the boys.

Sunday we were up and out by 11am. Got home in time for the Bucs kickoff at 1pm.
About 400 miles altogether.
Great times, and those Harley guys are pretty cool to hang out with.

I'm jealous! All it did was rain in Phoenix this weekend.

It was a Florida meet of HDForums. There were a few guys from Atlanta there also.

I know it's Hardley bikes, but I was there representing... and had a good time

We hit one popular twisty road on the coast called Ozella trail. About 7 or 8 miles of curves and sweepers. It ends at a marina and then you go back. Me, my son and another youngster on an R6 waited about 20 mins to let the Harley's go, then we hauled butt after them. Got rid of some chicken strips. GJoker waited for us about half way through and actually led us out ... he still thinks he rides a sport bike.

Next time I'll let ya know...
They are talking of riding to the keys at the end of January. We've never been... we might need to make that one also.
