I have to comment on this because of how impressed I was.
My mother, who is 70 years old, was having some transmission trouble in her car, so she took it to Fred's transmission in Mishawaka. They said they would look at it, and she was worried that it was going to cost her a couple grand to have fixed. About an hour after she dropped it off, they called her to inform her that the issue was with the PCM. They also informed her that the PCM should still be under warranty with the dealership, and that she should take it to them to have them fix it for free.
When she went to pick her car up, they refused to take any money from her, since all they did was scan it.
You have to respect an honest business that actually looks out for their customers.
