isn't that the stock tires?
the BT-015's were stock on mine
That's because you have an 08. They changed it for the K8 busas. The gen1's have bt-56's on em. I think I'll be goin with the bt-016's next tire change. I do a lot of hwy riding so I think they'll help out a good bit. Judging from vman1300's review of them, they're a really good tire. Grip will in the twisties and wear quite evenly.

I just picked up a set of the bt-021's from http://www.swmototires.com/ for a bit less than that ebay store (save about $10 after shipping). They've got the 16's as well.

I am waiting to see what kind of mileage people get from them though, I ride enough miles that I need a decently long wearing set of tires. My buddy has ~9k on his 021's and they've still got good life left in them. I was considering the pilot road 2, but for the extra $130 I figure I'll put it towards a new chain. ;)

I've got a BT-20 on the front with about 7000 on it. I just took the wheel off the bike this morning & I'm going to get a new tire today. I've been running the BT-21 on the back for the last few tires. I'm happy with the way the Brdgestones feel but, I'm not getting anywhere near 10000 miles of wear out of the back tire. Around 4000 miles. Was going to get a BT-21 to replace the front BT-20 with, not sure now. I like the tread pattern of the 21 better than the 20 but if the 21s don't get good mileage maybe I'll put a BT-20 back on. I know you aren't supposed to run two different grades of tire on the front & back but, I have done this before on my Bandit 1200. I'm wondering about running a BT-14 or 16 on the front with a BT-21 on the back. What do you think?

Can't help you much there bro... somebody will be along that can...

From my experience, I replaced my OEM rear tire with the Shinko Advance 005, and I ran it with the OEM 015 on the front... I couldn't tell any difference... I don't know if these are comparable or not though, all I know is the Shinko worked fine until the front OEM needed replaced. If these 021's don't work out, then a lot of these guys are loving the 016's... Basically depends on your riding style.

I decided to go ahead with the BT-21, looks like that may have been the wrong thing to do. I sure hope it lasts more than 5000. I should have stuck with the BT-20. We'll see.

I'm with ya bro... I'm hoping for the best as well... if I can squeeze out 7K miles out of both of them, I'll be extremely happy... I guess we'll wait and see.
