Google chrome laptops? "Chromebooks"

What do you guys think? Think it will be a flop or actually be a big competitor for windows and mac?

I think its going to be sweet. Google has yet to dissappoint

I think anything that can remotely compete with MS is gonna be a hit. Plus, heck its Google....they just do everything right lol. If Google made a sportbike...I`d ride the wheels off of it

Edit- Im currently using the Chrome browser to access the internet.

Google making their own operating system sounds kinda scary to me. I read this a while ago and while google is very popular, the underlying theme behind them doesn't sound so good to me.

Hmm...I'd certainly be interested in knowing more about it. I use Chrome as my browser and it craps all over IE.

its kind of dissappointing that the biggest chromebook has a 12 inch screen. But the fact you get 100 free mb of 3g use on the verizon network per month is a steal....

Google is becoming the new Big Brother. Only the Google software actually works, at least compared to M$FT.
