Does the center part with the spline sit flush with the thing the pressure plate bolts to or does it sit raised up a slight bit like when it sits in the assy.? When you weld it.

Planning next upgrade after a incident with the back torque limiter . One part is $214 from APE , and the other is $399 . I think the clutch hub is lighter as it is all aluminum. Who has done this , and might have the stock hub to weigh ? Thanks ;)

@Cncbusa donated the jig to me. So I’ll pay it forward. Bring me a clean useable core, and swap me out for one of my welded units. $20 to cover argon and welding rod.
