Yes, disconnect any brackets or tiedowns on the hydraulic lines, clutch and brake. Unhook or disconnect any attachment for the electrical connections including the ignition switch the clutch switch and the brake switches, and when you're done make sure that you have enough slack on both sides connections, electrical and hydraulic, so you can rotate the controls all the way to the left and all the way to the right.

Do not disconnect either clutch or break hydraulic lines unless you're going to replace them. Just their hold down brackets.

Post pictures, and commentary when you're done.

kit is here...longer bolts included...

any tips on getting the stock bolts out of the bottom of the yolk??? they are super tight and not easy to get at with good angle...
Go slow.
Take your time and don't rush.
Lots towels and rags to cover stuff.
Try for a breaker bar

You're kinda in uncharted waters

You can do this, it helps with a rear stand. Do you have one of those?.

You can do this, take your time.;)

No joke the bolts are literally glued in...i used a breaker bar but am nervous about scratching a fairing even with towels.
