gen 1 head on a gen 2 busa turbo

a friend and i where talking about heads on turbo's and he made the comment that most racers with gen 2 turbo bikes use gen 1 heads... i thought the gen 2 head was was better being that the head stock will hold 600hp any input?

Some Gen 2 guys are using Gen 1 cylinders. Also the Gen 2 valves and valvesprings won't hold up to turbo abuse as well. But the head itself is fine.

The stock Gen2 head will not hold 600HP, as stated above the limitation is the valves and the springs, the stock head in turbo application is only recommended for use at 4lbs of boost...i'm sure some guys will push it beyond that...

firstoff, if u are trying to push a high end power the engine has 2 be built replacing the valves n spring is part off that process as well as, rods n pistons ....

They are talking about the cylinders more than likely and not the head...
